Plastic Type 2 Barricade with HIP Reflective Panels
The Type 2 Plastic Barricade is a foldable, stackable traffic safety device equipped with high-visibility sheeting. It meets federal standards for work zone use and is also suitable for parking lot safety and private property traffic control. Its compact design makes it easy to store and transport, while the dual reflective panels provide added visibility from a distance and in low-light conditions.
High Visibility Barricade with Dual Reflective Panels
Each barricade includes two 8-inch by 24-inch panels with High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) reflective sheeting. This microprismatic lens material meets ASTM D4956-09 Type III and Type IV standards and is commonly used for signage and roadway delineators. The reflective surface is recessed to reduce wear and can be replaced when needed.
Plastic Type 2 Barricade for Work Zones and Parking Facilities
This type 2 barricade is MASH certified and designed for heavy duty use for pedestrian rerouting, blocked entrances, reserved zones, and more.

What’s the Difference Between Type 1 and Type 2 Barricades?
Type 1 and Type 2 barricades have the same frame structure, but Type 2 includes an extra reflective panel for higher visibility. This makes Type 2 a better fit for higher traffic areas, nighttime applications, or places that need extra visibility, such as active parking lots or intersections within work zones. For general low-speed use, Type 1 may be sufficient, but Type 2 adds an extra layer of safety.
